2026 All-State Orchestra Information
All-State seating audition for Percussion & Non-Percussion Instruments (percussion is a separate application) is now open and will close at Noon on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The specific audition excerpts are included in the application information.
***Students currently in 10th & 11th grades - if you are interested in applying for a 2027 All-Eastern Honors Ensemble, please also submit the All-East equalizer excerpt for your instrument (located in the "Click HERE for ALL-EAST Excerpts" link within the All-State seating audition information. Violas & Cellos do NOT need to submit an equalizer excerpt. This excerpt will be reviewed separately by a different set of judges and is NOT a part of the All-State Seating Re-audition.
All-Eastern Honors Ensembles - The All-East equalizer is only for instrumentalists (except viola and cello). If you have a 10th or 11th grade student that would like to apply for All-East, they need to submit the All-East equalizer along with their All-State seating audition. This equalizer will NOT be used for any all-state seating purposes and will be saved for review by a different set of judges at a different time. If students ask, the equalizer is used because we have winds, string bass and percussion in orchestra, wind and concert band ensembles.
