An Important Update Regarding the 2022 All-State Festival & Annual Conference January 11, 2022

PMEA is continuing its planning for the in-person 2022 All-State Festival and Annual In-Service Conference, to be held April 6-9 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center. In light of the continuing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we wanted to share an update regarding the steps being taken to ensure the best possible in-person experience for our attendees, clinicians, musicians and staff.

In accordance with PMEA’s duty to provide and maintain an environment that is free of known hazards, PMEA has adopted a policy requiring COVID-19 vaccines for all students, attendees, and exhibitors.

In addition, other mitigation strategies such as masking, social distancing, and the availability of sanitizing stations will be in place.

In the event that a student, attendee or exhibitor requests a medical or religious exemption – a procedure and requirements are now in place to request those exemptions. Visit the All-State Festival and Annual In-Service Conference web pages to read the updated policy and see the process for exemption requests. Please note there are deadlines associated with all exemption requests.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation as we look forward to meeting and making music together as safely as possible!
