Abigail Young, CAE, serves as the State Executive for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, based in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, a position she’s held since 2015. Prior to that she served as Director of Meetings & Membership for the association for nine years. Abi currently serves as chair of the NAfME State Executives Council and is an active volunteer with ASAE (American Society for Association Executives) and PASAE (the Pennsylvania American Society for Association Excellence).

Outside of the association world, Abi and her husband Dan have two daughters, Ella (11) & Libby (8) and two cats. She actively volunteers with her church and also assists with the Girls Scouts troop in which her daughters participate.
