Every March, PMEA sponsors concerts at the State Capitol building in Harrisburg for Music In Our Schools Month. Concerts take place in the Main & East Wing Rotundas from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday during the month of March unless otherwise noted. The state capitol has limited the performances to choral and string groups only due to noise levels. Groups are accepted on a first come, first serve basis with preference being given to groups who did not perform the previous year. 

The application to perform during the 2027 MIOSM concert series will open in August.
