All-Eastern Honors Ensembles – If you have a 10th or 11th grade student (in the 2025-26 school year) who would like to apply for All-East, they need to submit the All-East equalizer excerpt along with their All-State seating audition. This equalizer will NOT be used for any all-state seating purposes and will be saved for review by a different set of judges at a different time. If students ask, the equalizer is used because we have winds, string bass and percussion in orchestra, wind and concert band ensembles.
Cello, viola, All-State Chorus, Jazz and Contemporary A Cappella students do NOT have an equalizer audition to submit. They will just submit an application.
Please keep an eye on this page and/or the Rhode Island MEA website for details. Historically application deadlines have been occurring in August/early September.
