2019 PMEA/NAfME All-East Honors Ensembles Information
Students planning on applying to an All-East Ensemble who will NOT need to complete an equalizer are: students in All-State Chorus, Jazz & Vocal Jazz Ensembles and those playing viola and cello in the All-State Orchestra. All other instrumentalists will need to complete the PMEA Equalizer Etude. The Window of Opportunity to submit the Equalizer Etude will be May 13 – June 6.
Application information for the 2019 Eastern Division Honors Ensembles will be available in late May. The actual window of opportunity to submit an application will take place in mid-late August with a submission deadline in late September. (Applications will NOT be due in June like they have been in previous years.) Vocal Jazz students are eligible to apply to participate in the All-East Mixed Chorus.
**Please note that students who are selected and choose to participate in an All-East Honors Ensemble will not be able to participate in a 2019 PMEA All-State Ensemble due to rehearsal schedules.**
