You may use the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) website subject to the Terms and Conditions set out on this page.  You should visit this page regularly to check the latest version of these Terms and Conditions.  Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of use.

Intellectual property

The names, images, and logos displayed on this site that identify the PMEA are proprietary material of the Association and/or third parties.  Copying any of this material is not permitted without prior approval from the owner of the relevant intellectual property rights.  Requests for such approval should be directed to:  Executive Director, PMEA, 56 S. We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production.  It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet.  We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption of or damage to your data or your computer system that may occur while using material derived from this website.

Privacy Statement

If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, the PMEA website does not store or capture personal information.

We do not use cookies for collecting user information.  We will not collect any information about you.

This privacy statement only covers the PMEA website at www.pmea.net.  This statement does not cover links within this site to other websites.

Website Linking Policy

We welcome links from academic and informational websites but regrettably cannot usually offer a reciprocal link.

Other websites may link to the PMEA website, provided that the other website complies with the following criteria:

• Unless a different approach has been agreed to by PMEA, all links must be to the PMEA homepage at www.pmea.net.
• We do not accept any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of the information external to the PMEA website
• The Association does NOT endorse companies, products or services, and strictly prohibits any suggestion of endorsement, recommendation, or superiority of one company, product or service over another company, product or service.
• The PMEA website content must not be framed within your site and the use of any material from the website must be approved.  The Association does not allow framing of its web site.  When setting up a link to PMEA’s website, the Association’s site should open in a new web browser window rather than displaying the pages in a frame of the linking site’s Web template, when frames are used in the site’s design.
• Links directly to the Association’s website should be text-only, and you may not use the Association’s logo as a link, as our logo cannot be shown on your site.
• The Association does not allow other websites to copy and reuse information or materials from the Association’s websites.

Linking from the PMEA website

The Association does not provide links from the Association’s website to external sites except as specified by a pre-existing sponsorship agreement, partnership or other contractual business relationship.  Links are only available to those Corporate members who join PMEA at the Gold level of sponsorship (dues  $1,000 per year).

No link on the Association’s website is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service.  Such links are provided for convenience only.

We accept graphical links (i.e. logos) only under special circumstances, and we insist that these are supplied by their owners in a pre-agreed to size and format, with written (email is fine) permission for their use.

Should PMEA agree to a link-swap, the size and placement of the link shall be entirely at the discretion of the PMEA webmaster.

Restrictions on use and other important information

In addition to this linking policy, the PMEA website contains information on restrictions that apply to use of material on the PMEA website.  This information includes, among other things, restrictions in relation to privacy, copyright and a disclaimer by PMEA of any liability to any person arising from use of the PMEA website.

These restrictions and disclaimer will apply to your use of any material from the PMEA website.

Reservations

The Association reserves the right to:

• Request removal of your link to the PMEA website
• Remove your link (where links are reciprocal, adequate notice of agreement termination may be given)
• Not provide endorsement of your site by PMEA,  nor imply endorsement; and
• Change these terms at any time and solely at its discretion.
