Vicki Walker is currently a senior at Westminster College in New
Wilmington, PA. She grew up in Worthington, PA and graduated
from Kittanning Senior High School. She is a music education
major with an official concentration in French Horn and an
unofficial concentration in voice. At Westminster, she is active
in Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Horn Ensemble, Horn
Quartet, Woodwind Quintet, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers
and Theatre Westminster, and has had the privilege of serving
as a Field Commander of the Titan Marching Band.

Matt Carlson is a junior Music Education major at the Sunderman
Conservatory at Gettysburg College. He studies voice with
Jeffrey Fahnestock and percussion with Tim Sestrick. He enjoys
an active musical career at Gettysburg, and has performed with
the College Choir, Camerata, Wind Symphony, Symphony
Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. While
Matt enjoys teaching all music, he would really love to teach
high school choir. He is excited to begin working with PCMEA
and to take an active role in shaping the future of Music
Education in Pennsylvania.

Technical Coordinator Bryan Smith |

Bryan is a senior music education major at Mansfield University
of Pennsylvania. Originally from Bath, NY, he has served
previously on the PCMEA exec board as Region IV coordinator.
He studies trumpet with Dr. H. Michael Galloway, and is active
in his home chapter of CMENC. Bryan can be seen performing
in Jazz Bands, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra,
Symphonic Band, and various chamber ensembles. Feel free to
email him with ideas about updating the website and increasing
communication with the PCMEA state executive board and
PCMEA members.

Secretary Erin Dietrick |

Erin Dietrick is the current state secretary for PCMEA. She is a
sophomore music education major with a focus in voice,
especially opera, and a secondary focus in violin at Messiah
College. Erin is originally from Canton, PA, and has been active
in PMEA since 2006. Apart from PMEA, ACDA, and MENC
activities, her other musical activities include coordinating a
three-week music program in the African country of Burkina
Faso through The Collaboratory at Messiah College and
participating in ensembles including concert choir, symphony
orchestra, and opera workshop. Her non-music activities include
writing for the school newspaper The Swinging Bridge,
photography, campus ministries, working with children and
youth, teaching violin, working with her horse Full Moon
Blue, and scrapbooking. In the future Erin hopes to pursue a
masters or doctorate degree in vocal pedagogy or special
education and specializing in adaptive music for children with
special needs.

Christian Heasley is a sophomore music education major with a
concentration in voice from Westminster College. At college, he
performs with the Men's Chorus, Concert Choir, Chamber
Singers, Opera Westminster, and Theatre Westminster. He
sings competitively in the Tri-State NATS competitions, most
recently being the runner-up in the Lower Division Musical
Theatre category. In addition to PCMEA, he is actively involved
in and treasure of his college's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, a
theatre honorary.

Laura Dunn is pursuing her Master of Music degree in Music
Education at Carnegie Mellon University. Laura received her
Bachelor of Music degree, Summa cum laude, from The College
of New Jersey in 2010. Her primary instrument is the clarinet.
Laura taught elementary band as part of her student teaching.
While a student at The College of New Jersey, Laura was an
active leader in the Department of Music, serving as the Vice
President of the college's collegiate MENC chapter and as
president of The College of New Jersey Wind Ensemble.

Chelci is originally from Warren, Pennsylvania and is currently
attending Clarion University. She has been playing saxophone
for 10 years and was recently featured as a soloist with the
Clarion University Symphonic Band on a piece in memory of Dr.
Rex Mitchell, who passed away while they were participating in
Intercollegiate Band at Juniata College this spring. At Clarion,
she has had the opportunity to perform in many ensembles,
including orchestra, choir, symphonic band, wind ensemble,
saxophone quartets, and a saxophone trio. She is involved in
Tau Beta Sigma, national honorary band sorority, and MENC
Chapter 654. In her chapter she has held the offices of treasurer
for 2 years and vice president for 1.

Miranda is a Senior Music Education major at Clarion University
with a concentration in piano. She is from Shippenville,
Pennsylvania and graduated from North Clarion High School.
Miranda is involved in many choir and band ensembles at
CUP. She is also the President of Clarion's PCMEA/MENC
chapter. Miranda also serves as Vice-President of Service for
the national honorary band fraternity: Kappa Kappa Psi, Epsilon
Phi Chapter. During her free time off campus, she plays organ
for three churches in the surrounding area. |

Kristy Drake is a Junior in the Music Education program at Penn
State University with an emphasis in voice. She is from upstate
New York, specifically Canandaigua and has been a strong participant in the PMEA festivals. Now she serves as
the Region III representative for PCMEA as well as Advisory
Board Representative, Historian and Treasurer for other
organizations. Kristy is looking forward to serving PCMEA this
year.

Annabelle Luebke is a sophomore music education major with a
concentration in voice. She also plays piano. She grew up in
Eldersburg, Maryland where she was actively involved in theatre
and music at both her church and school. At Susquehanna, she
is a member of the University Chorale, Intervarsity Christian
Fellowship, and CMENC. She also is active in volunteer work
and holds a job as a waitress.

Rachel Smith is a sophomore music education major with a
concentration in clarinet at Mansfield University. She is involved
with MENC/PCMEA, “The Spirit and The Pride of Pennsylvania”
Marching Band, Festival Chorus, symphonic band, and is a
sister of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. Her
hometown is Muncy, Pennsylvania. She was involved with
Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Choir,
Madrigal Choir, Show Choir, National Honor Society, and
Student Council.

Michelle J. Stukane is a junior Music Education Major at The
Sunderman Conservatory of Music of Gettysburg College, where
she is a member of Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra,
Symphony Band, percussion Enseble and Drum Line Captain of
the Bullets Marching Band. She began her musical training on
percussion at the age of 8 and has continue her love and
passion for music ever since. A graduate of Middletown High
School South in Middletwon, New Jersey, Micki was a member
of the Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Choir,
Drum Line, Color Guard and President of the Marching Eagles.
Before graduating high school, Micki was recognized with
multiple awards for dedication to music such as the U.S. Navy
Award for Music Achievement, The Music Sponsors Kenneth
Marotta Memorial Scholarhsip, The Eric P. Donoghue
Scholarship, The Vicki Kukura Spirit Award, and The Matthew
Tortorella Memorial Helping Hand Award. As Region 5
Coordinator, Micki Stukane hopes to further the ducation of
future music educators and share her passion of music with
others. |

Region VI Coordinator Alicia Culleton |

Alicia Culleton is a sophomore Music Education major at
Immaculata University. Although raised in New Hampshire, she
has quickly taken a great liking to the beautiful state of
Pennsylvania. Alicia is a mezzo-soprano and is a member of
multiple ensembles and chamber groups at IU. Alicia is a
member of Pennsylvania Music Educators Association as well
as the American Choral Directors Association. |

Advisor Sister Kathleen Doutt |

Currently, Sister Kathleen teaches courses in music education,
aural skills, world music, music history, and women in the
performing arts. Sister Kathleen is very active in several
professional organizations, including the (MENC) Music
Educators National Conference, (PMEA) Pennsylvania Music
Educators Association, ACDA (American Choral Directors
Association), OAKE (Organization of American Kodály
Educators), and CMS (the College Music Society). Currently the
advisor to Pennsylvania collegiate members of MENC and
PMEA, Sister Kathleen finds the contact with collegiate
members to be very gratifying, as she loves to work with young
people. She is committed to lifelong involvement with music and
the performance of music. Sister Kathleen is a cantor for various
functions on and off the Immaculata campus and serves as
piano accompanist for soloists and ensembles. During the last
several years, Sister has developed a passion for the Spanish
language and for researching world music, particularly latino
music.
