I am extremely excited to have become the president of such a great community of music educators!  Over the past 2 years as your vice-president I have met many new people.  I  look forward to meeting, and working, with more of you.  We should be so very proud of the Music Education that occurs in our little piece of the world here in Central Pennsylvania. 

 

I would like to personally thank Sherry Morgan for two fantastic years of leadership as president.  She started off her first Festival Season with an ice storm and met every other challenge posed to her throughout her tenure.  It was my pleasure to have watched and learned from one of the best.

 

Much of what we do for you as an executive board is done behind the scenes.  With this in mind, I would like to thank our members of the executive board for their continued support and many hours of work! 

 

As we go through our daily routines let us not forget the reason we took up this profession.  Our students happily parade to us every day to make music as well as learn how to set goals and work as a team!  Many of the experiences they gain in our music departments will remain with them forever.  Continue to strive to provide the very best program for our youth.  They deserve nothing but your very best!
