I am very exited and proud to be your president for the next two years.  I look forward to meeting you all and working to help promote music education in our state.

 I want to say thank you to Mel McConnell for his two fantastic years of service.  There were many new challenges that needed to be tackled during his tenure as president.  He handled all of them very professionally and I have learned a great deal from him. 

 As I start my term as president, PMEA is on the verge of some fundamental and important changes.  I hope that I will be able to represent your interests with the state board effectively.  In order to do that I will need all of you and am looking for all of your input and support.

 As the year goes on please do not hesitate to contact me with questions and suggestions.  Again thank you for your kindness and support.
